Additional Registration Information

 

Payment Methods

All payments must be made in Euro. Cash payments will be accepted only on-site. Credit card payment will also be available on-site. No other type of payment will be accepted on site.

Acceptable methods of payment are:

  1. On-line (preferred method) using your credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD).
  2. Click on the ON-LINE REGISTRATION button found at the end of this page and follow the procedure. You must be the cardholder to use this option.

  3. Faxing your credit card details.
  4. You may either fax the Registration Form, completed by you, or use the ON-LINE REGISTRATION. You will then be able to submit your data, but when you proceed to payment, click on the PDF Payment Form, found in the “Credit Card Payment by fax” section, to download and print a registration form that already contains your registration data. You only need to fill in your credit card details, sign and fax it.
    In case you are using someone else’s credit card to pay for your registration, you should send the Registration Form by fax, as a signed authorization of the cardholder is required in hardcopy, accompanied by a copy of both sides of the credit card.

  5. Bank transfer.
  6. If you are unable to pay by credit card, you may pay by bank transfer, but you should add an extra €20 to cover administrative costs. All transfer or service charges imposed by the bank must also be paid by the participant.
    After registering on-line, proceed to payment and use the “Bank Transfer” option that will be presented to you. Then, the on-line system will send you an e-mail with the bank account details. You must fax a copy of your bank transfer receipt to: +30 2610 991945.
    Alternatively, you may use the Registration Form found at the end of this page and fax or e-mail the Form along with proof of payment.
    Please clearly indicate on the bank form:
    1)      Your full name, as given for the registration
    2)      Symposium: “ISWPC 2008”
    After proof of payment has been confirmed by our bank, you will receive a confirmation of registration. Please remember to bring the copy of your bank transfer receipt to the registration desk.


Cancellations

In the unfortunate event that a registration must be cancelled, all prepaid fees will be refunded, excluding an administration charge of € 100, provided that advance written notification is submitted by Wednesday, April 9th, 2008. No refunds will be given for cancellations received afterwards. All refunds will be handled within 30 days after the end of the Symposium.


Additional Registration Application

Those who are already registered, but would like to get additional items (i.e. additional proceedings on CD-ROM, additional pages, welcome reception tickets, banquet tickets or lunch tickets), must fax the additional registration form to +30 2610 991 945. Confirmation will be sent via email, after proof of payment has been received. Please remember to print and bring this confirmation letter with you to the registration desk in order to collect your tickets/proceedings.


Letters of Invitation

Delegates requiring a letter of invitation in order to attend the Symposium may write to the Registration Desk (iswpc08@meetingplanner.gr) specifying the necessary details. Please note that this procedure aims to assist delegates who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Symposium. It is not an official invitation covering fees and other expenses and does not imply any financial support from the Symposium.
Payment for registration fees must have been finalized, before requesting an invitation letter. Please make sure that in your request to the Registration Desk for an invitation letter you include:
1)      Name, postal address, and a valid email address;
2)      Paper number, if you are presenting a paper;
3)      The words “invitation letter request” in the subject field of your email    
request.
The visa letters will be emailed in a printable pdf color format and will state only the facts:

  • Symposium  title, dates, and location;
  • That the requester has paid the required registration fee in full;
  • Whether the requester is a committee member, speaker, or presenter.

Attendees who need visas are advised to apply for it to the respective consulate/embassy no later than 3 months prior to the Symposium. For visa information, please visit the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


Personal Insurance

The organizers cannot be held responsible for accidents to Symposium participants or accompanying persons, for damage or loss of their personal property, or for cancellation expenses, regardless of cause. Participants should therefore, make their own insurance arrangements. Please consult with your local insurance sources regarding coverage. 


Registration Info and Hours

  • Receipts will be given on site. No invoices will be sent in advance.
  • Upon receiving your complete registration application and payment, the registration desk will email you a confirmation letter, including your registration number.  You must print this confirmation of registration e-mail and bring it with you to the on-site registration desk!
  • You may submit your registration on-line or by fax no later than Wednesday, April 30th, 2008. After this date, only on-site registration is possible.
  • Participation of accompanying persons in the various social events of the Symposium will be available at an extra cost.

The ISWPC 2008 registration desk at the Symposium venue will be open during the following hours:
Tuesday, May 6             17:30 - 20:00
Wednesday, May 7          08:00 – 18:00
Thursday, May 8              08:00 – 18:00
Friday, May 9                08:00 - 13:00
